In a remarkable achievement, 8-year-old Adhya Paul, a Class 8 student from Mumbai, has developed a hydrogen-solar hybrid toy car, marking a significant step in environmental protection. This innovative project, initially created for a school science exhibition, utilizes hydrogen generated through water electrolysis to power the vehicle, combined with solar energy. After multiple experiments and refinements, Adhya’s model gained recognition at a CBSE state-level science exhibition and was later selected for a national-level event in Delhi, where she represented Maharashtra.
Her creation has now evolved into an educational kit, set to be commercially distributed across India through a strategic partnership with Tradetokree, a leading marketing and distribution firm, formalized via a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This kit aims to educate young minds about sustainable energy, particularly hydrogen as an alternative fuel source, fostering awareness about environmental conservation. Tradetokree’s CEO, Amit Gupta, emphasized that the kit is not just a toy but a movement to inspire children to understand clean energy and address global warming. Entirely designed and developed in India, this initiative highlights the potential of young innovators in shaping a sustainable future.
