A significant step towards fostering environmental awareness and sustainable energy education was taken today with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between young innovator Ms. Aadhya Paul and Tradetokri, a leading marketing and distribution firm. This landmark agreement paves the way for the nationwide launch and marketing of Ms. Paul’s revolutionary hydrogen-solar hybrid toy car, an indigenous science kit poised to transform how young minds engage with future energy solutions.

This unique educational kit stands out in the Indian market, filling a crucial void. While numerous science kits exist, there is a distinct lack of products that effectively demonstrate the power and utility of hydrogen energy. Ms. Paul’s creation is the first of its kind of Indian origin to specifically address this gap.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, the CEO of Tradetokri, Amit Gupta stated, the product will create much-needed awareness among youth about the environmental effects of global warming caused by currently used carbon-based fuels. Hydrogen is undeniably the fuel of the future, and communicating this vital information to the young generation has always been the challenge. Aadhya Paul’s innovation, perhaps a model or science kit, is precisely the answer.

Ms. Aadhya Paul shared her journey, explaining, “I initially made a very small demo model for the electrolysis of water to produce hydrogen and light an LED in a school science exhibition. When my model was selected for the state-level science exhibition conducted by CBSE, my mentor teacher suggested, ‘Why not think about using the produced hydrogen for running a car?’ After a lot of iterations and hard work, I was able to create a toy car model. The model was then chosen for participation in a National level camp where I represented my state, Maharashtra, in Delhi. To further enhance its sustainability, I introduced solar energy to this model to make the hydrogen green.”

The CEO of Tradetokri recognized the immense potential and marketability of Ms. Paul’s idea, leading to today’s MoU. With the product launch in its final stages, Tradetokri will now spearhead the marketing efforts for this entirely indigenous and impactful educational product. This collaboration marks a pivotal moment in educating the next generation about clean energy and their role in safeguarding our world.

Planet Pals, founded by 8-year-old Adhya Paul from Mumbai, is an initiative inspiring youth to champion environmental conservation. Through her hydrogen-solar hybrid toy car and the book "Unmasking Reality," Adhya promotes sustainable energy and eco-awareness.
